More people each year – including new and experienced denture wearers and people with one or more missing teeth – are turning to implants as the best solution to restoring their teeth, their smiles and their quality of life. Affordable Dentures began offering dental implant treatment in 2001, and many of its affiliated practices now offer implant services to patients. As Affordable Dentures continues to expand its clinical pathway for implantology training, many affiliated practice owners across the U.S. are adopting cone beam 3D imaging technology, guided surgery and other innovations. The awarding of Fellowship status is an honor which professional societies such as the ICOI and AAIP bestow on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. Both organizations have a Fellowship status through their efforts in education, research, and actual clinical experience. All Fellows of the ICOI and AAIP may choose to list the designations “FICOI” and “FAAIP” after their names. The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is not only the world’s largest dental implant organization but also the world’s largest provider of continuing dental implant education. The ICOI is dedicated to providing implant education to entire dental teams to better serve patients. The American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics supports implants as an integral component of dentistry, promotes the open exchange of information, assists in maintaining high standards of excellence, and seeks to stimulate implant research. For more information, visit ICOI’s website at [www.icoi.org](http://www.icoi.org/) and the AAIP at [www.aaipusa.com](http://www.aaipusa.com/).
